The exhibition looks at the aesthetic thinking of the Mexican painter Ángel Zárraga (1886 to 1946) along three lines: the influence of Western culture as an artistic canon, his religious and spiritual convictions, and his approach to the body. It is curated by David Caliz.
The museum lists works from its own collection and from private and corporate collections, including Septiembre (1917) and Tres futbolistas con boina (about 1921) from the FEMSA collection.
