About
The fair runs for nine days at Expo Guadalajara, on Avenida Mariano Otero. Its organisers describe it as the largest gathering of the Spanish-language publishing world, with Italy as the country of honour for 2026 and the fair marking its 40th year.
Public hours are 9:00 to 21:00 on 28 and 29 November and on 3, 5 and 6 December, and 16:00 to 21:00 on 30 November, 1 and 2 December. On 4 December the fair stays open until 23:00 for its night sale. Concerts at the Foro FIL are free, with limited capacity.
Adult entry is 40 pesos. Children aged 3 to 12, INAPAM card holders, people with disabilities, students and teachers pay 30 pesos, and University of Guadalajara students with a valid card pay 25 pesos. A ticket also gives entry to FIL Niños.
